9/11: How America Came Together On That Day

There is no words that can really tell you the true pain, suffering, sadness, fear, and anger on that day in 2001. It's is one of the only times America has ever been brought together like we were on that day and when we forgot about our political parties and when we didn't care who you were, as long as you were an American you were with us and you were feeling the same things every other American was feeling on that day. It was the day when most people made the decision to join the military, and it was the day when we went full throttle in the Middle East. It was the day when phone calls were made, some calling there parents, siblings, friends, and spouses. Some phone calls were telling there family there last words and telling them that the building they were in just got hit by a plane. They told them that there was so much smoke that they couldn't breathe very well and that they wanted there spouse to tell there kids that they loved them. Other phone calls were from planes telling the people on the other side that the plane has been hijacked and the people who hijacked it said they had a bomb. It was the day that 2,996 Americans had died. Unlike today, news stations weren't blaming it on a political party or just counting how many had COVID, they were all there together trying the best they could telling the American people what they could find out was happening. Most people today don't even recognize 9/11 or remember how devastating it was to America and the war on terror, but it should never be forgotten by anybody, not just by the American people but by everybody in the world and especially by the people that did it to us, they should know that what they did on that day is the reason why we hate them, and if you think otherwise, then you need to watch the videos or one of the many documentaries of what happened on 9/11 and then tell me that the Taliban should be allowed to live there lives in Afghanistan as they still kill innocent people.
